I must admit that I don’t have too many Detroit, Michigan maps in our collection of work, so I was really excited to complete this map used in the invitation materials for an upcoming wedding.
This map is clearly a “hometown” map including attractions such as the various high schools and family homes as well as the local park and pool hall! Most of the icons on this map are custom created to match the buildings they represent, and I especially love recreation of the Dodge Fountain at Hart Plaza. Here is a photo of the fountain, and you can compare it to my own artistic rendering!
