Invitation Tip: The White House greetings office handles as many wedding invitation requests as they can. Send your wedding invitation at least six weeks in advance.

Invitation Tip: Never send a wedding invitation to the Queen directly (only to a secretary).
You can also consider inviting your state Governor or any congress people. Special anniversaries and significant birthdays are also worthy of VIP acknowledgements and the congratulatory letter to receive in return might just be worth the extra invite!
