One of the most important first steps in planning any destination wedding {other than securing your vendors of course} is giving your guests ample notice of the date and accommodations available. In many cases, your guests will make a vacation out of your wedding weekend and will want to make plans in advance if possible. Now if you don’t have as much time {I planned my own destination wedding in just 6 months!}, your guests will surely understand, but if plans are underway well in advance, it is nice to let them know.
