This beautiful couple was married at one of our favorite venues on the West coast – Adamson House in Malibu! The historic venue features stunning views that were captured beautifully {along with the many delicious details of the wedding!} by Chris Schmitt Photography.
Our first project for the couple was their envelope calligraphy, which complemented their travel-inspired invitations created by Serendipity Beyond Design.
We also created a custom map that was used for a welcome tote bag for guests ~ and what a welcome it was! Filled to the bring with fun goodies for guests to enjoy.
The ceremony included four very special attendants. Two sets of twins were driven down the aisle by their dads {the bride’s cousin and the groom’s brother}. The cars were re-wired to be remote control sincethe twins were too young to drive them {and both sets of identical twins share the same birthday… July 22, 2010}!
What a sweet way to include the adorable toddlers! Continuing with the travel theme, the reception showcased this amazingly creative travel themed cake by The Butter End. The top tier was made in the shape of the wedding logo, and featured a clay figurine of the bride and groom flying in an airplane with a banner that reads “Just Married”. The middle layer featured silhouettes of iconic landmarks from the couple’s travels while the suitcase base layer with two passports and travel stickers highlighted the wedding date as well as fun slogans like “Happily Ever After or Bust” and “Have Love, Will Travel”.
Congratulations to the bride & groom!
