When Marianne from RiverOaks Charleston reached out to us about hosting one of our workshops at their beautiful event property, we didn’t think twice before jumping at the opportunity. When we found out that their home is actually on the property and that we were welcome to stay with them…well at that point we were ecstatic!
Usually when we travel for workshops, we don’t have time to do much sightseeing (and are too exhausted/anxious to get home after the workshops are over!), but for this trip we specifically booked a couple extra days since neither Alyssa nor I had ever been to Charleston. And the charming Southern town definitely did not disappoint! Our little getaway ended with the workshop at RiverOaks, and Lauren Jonas was on hand to capture it all so beautifully.
