One of our most frequently asked questions is about staging & editing photos for use on our social media platforms {Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc} and while Laura has taken all of our photos for years, we have recently had our studio assistants step in and help out with the weekly images of our work!
A few months ago our friends over at Sugar & Cloth released their Cool Photo School online photography class, so we figured there’s no better way to get our staff up to speed than to learn from the pros! Ashley & Jared did a full set of product images for us a few years ago {see image above!} and we just love their work – and the Cool Photo School tutorial is no different!
The lesson goes step-by-step through the exact equipment that they use, how to get the best natural lighting for your images, staging & editing. Even if you aren’t ready to invest in professional equipment, the the principles of lighting & staging can all apply using basic equipment as well!
We highly recommend Cool Photo School for anyone looking to up their social media photography game & the small investment is well worth the proprietary information shared in the tutorials in our opinion.
