Since we are not a “day-of” wedding vendor and we often work with couples that don’t live anywhere near our Hermosa Beach location, there are many occasions that we never get to meet {and in turn get to know} the couples that we pen for. So when Emily of Amber Karson Events sent us this link to an engagement shoot by Abby Jiu, we were tickled pink to get an inside glimpse at the adorable couple we were working for!
The ladies at Amber Karson Events are working with Elaine Chou at Papermade on a hand illustration of a historic DC venue, The Decatur House, for an upcoming Fall 2012 wedding. We love collaborating with other artists and are thrilled to have calligraphed their save the date envelopes. We are looking forward to wedding invitation envelopes and day-of pieces too! But for now, we will share some of Abby Jiu’s sweet photo’s of this adorable couple.
The couple selected Dumbarton Oaks located in Washington, DC for their relaxed engagement shoot. I just love Lauren’s neutral dress and all the earthy nature shots ~ so beautiful and serene!
