As we officially begin Winter, we are excited to share a custom wedding invitation suite from a real wedding in London that is perfect for any festive winter wedding. Your wedding invitation is the first item that will inform your wedding guests about the theme and design of your wedding day, and opting for a custom wedding invitation suite is a great way to set the tone for your entire wedding celebration as well as provide your guests with all of the information they need for an enjoyed wedding weekend.
For our couple’s wedding in London, it was rich green velvet paper and ribbon contrasted with gold foil calligraphy on their elegant and classic wedding stationery suite complete with all of the details including invitations, place cards, escort cards, menu, table numbers, ceremony program, weekend itinerary and more, for a luxurious and traditional-yet-modern vibe with all the textures.
Luxurious Textures
Our couple’s luxury wedding invitation suite for their wedding in London was designed with texture in mind and consisted of 100% cotton paper with gold letterpress foil in Bickham Swash Caps calligraphy. Their wedding invitation included a blind deboss on the front with hand-drawn rose florals around the top and bottom edges, and was backed in deep green velvet paper that was also blind debossed with the couple’s monogram.
A small insert inside their wedding invitation indicated where guests could send their replies via the couple’s wedding website, and an alternate details card was included, both in gold foil pressed into the 100% cotton paper.
Modern Yet Classic Details
For their day of the wedding elements, our couple had digitally printed folding wedding ceremony programs with a deep green velvet ribbon, a wedding menu and a complete wedding weekend itinerary – all flat printed in the same deep green on white paper. Their wedding reception escort cards and place cards were hand-calligraphed in gold for a classic look and feel.
