If you’re on the hunt for a wedding invitation suite that is equal parts modern, and playful with a touch of sophistication, you’ll love our featured real wedding stationery set design. We love working with our clients to bring their wedding day vision to life and tell their love story.
Washington, DC is home to many elegant and historic wedding venues, including Meridian House, which was the host of today’s featured wedding stationery suite. A custom wedding invitation suite is the best way to inform your wedding guests of the tone and vibe of your wedding day.
This modern yet neutral wedding invitation suite and day of the wedding paper details did just that. Modern, chic, and dare we say, a bit sexy, this elegant wedding stationery suite in shades of black, white, and beige welcomed guests to the nation’s capital for a summer wedding celebration that was anything but boring. Do not miss the custom leather-backed invitation and details that took the whole design to another level!
Neutral With A Twist
A neutral color palette for any wedding stationery design will never go out of style (ever!), but we love the modern twist with the rich tones in this custom set. Set on a black, white, and light beige color pallette, we used modern typography throughout the wedding invitation suite and continued the cohesive look onto the day of wedding details, including table numbers and menus that doubled as place cards for guests to know their seating assignment for the reception. (We also love a wedding detail that plays double duty as function and decor!)
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again. Clean and modern design does not have to be boring! The little details matter for your big day, and it’s those small details that can add up to help you personalize your wedding day stationery. The blind emboss of the couple’s monogram on this custom wedding invitation along with the black and white diamond patterned liner on the custom die-cut envelopes are some of our favorite details in this ultra-chic and stylish wedding invitation suite.
We really enjoy working with our clients to create a cohesive look, so that each piece keeps a consistent look and feels intentional from start to finish.
To keep the entire custom wedding stationery suite, including the wedding invitation set and day of the wedding paper goods, such as table numbers, place cards, and menus, cohesive, we used two-ply paper throughout with blind embossing and digital print. We also replicated elements and patterns from one piece to the next. For a truly elegant and elevated feel, leather backers were used on the pieces, which brought the whole custom suite together.
We utilized the custom monogram detail from their wedding invitation card to add extra detail to the wedding menus that doubled as place cards for each wedding guest. A custom wax seal in black adorned each wedding meal menu with the bride and groom’s monogram.
