Setting the First Impression For Your Guests with Wedding Stationery

Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life. It’s where family and friends gather to celebrate your love and honor a significant commitment in your lives.

When so many people gather to celebrate you, it’s only fitting that you give them a joyful experience they’ll remember for years to come. But let’s be honest, planning the gorgeous, memorable wedding of your dreams can also be very stressful.

Creating a memorable wedding starts with your invitations…

To alleviate the stress of wedding planning, you must choose the right team.

And an integral part of that team includes the experts you choose to create your stationery.

Creating a memorable wedding experience comes down to the unique details you and your partner choose to make your day unforgettable.  And stationery is a vital part of that incredible experience —

Your wedding’s save-the-date cards give your guests a taste of what your wedding will be like — they set the tone for the whole event.

And your wedding invitation provides a full preview of your wedding experience.

Finally, the day-of paper creates the unique and seamless event you want your wedding to be. These features can include place cards, escort cards, seating plans, welcome notes and bags, wedding weekend itineraries, programs, menus, table numbers, bar signs, cocktail napkins, and overall signage.

And yes, that’s a lot of paper!

When we first meet with clients, they’re often overwhelmed by the number of paper elements most weddings have.

Fortunately, after working on hundreds of weddings and events, we’ve developed a simple process that ensures your stationery captures your vision and adds the perfect touch to your celebration.

Fortunately, after working on hundreds of weddings and events, we’ve developed a simple process that ensures your stationery captures your vision and adds the perfect touch to your celebration.

The LHDH Process

Here’s the tried-and-true process we’ve used. And whether you choose to work with LHDH or another stationery provider, this is the level of service you should expect from anyone who provides custom stationery for weddings:

  1. A custom proposal
After we conduct an introductory call, we will provide you with a personalized proposal that includes an inspiration board and investment estimate for the paper assets and desired materials.
  • In addition to paper, elements for your invitation could include anything from leather to linen, ribbon, die-cut shapes, wax seals, belly bands, and tie closures.
  • You’ll want to consider what enclosures to include, and we will help determine this in our initial call as we gather details about your paper needs and print priorities.
  1. Creative production
Once we’ve identified the scope of work, Laura will provide initial sketches and your names as they would appear on your suite in your preferred handwritten scripts and artistic style. Our proofing process includes unlimited revisions until the design is approved and we move forward to print.
  1. Fulfillment
Sometimes, clients wish to mail out their invitation sets to experience the satisfaction of sending each suite off to friends and family.
  • But we do offer this service on your behalf as well. This invitation fulfillment includes stamp sourcing, applying stamps, assembling the invitation suites, and sealing them based on your specifications. We then take your invitation sets to the post office and hand-cancel the stamps one by one!
  • In most instances, the client or their wedding planner will handle RSVPs.
  • Here’s a little tip — give each guest on your list a number and then add the small number to the RSVP card (in pencil is fine).  This way, you will know who RSVP’d, even if they forget to fill out their name.  And yes, some people will forget to do this!
  1. Onsite Concierge Services
We also offer an additional service as your onsite concierge.
  • As your paper concierge, Laura & Alyssa will oversee all the organization and arrangement of your paper features for the wedding, ensuring that all of these key elements are placed in the appropriate place, on schedule, to create that seamless experience you want.
  • We can take care of any last-minute additions or changes to your escort cards, place cards, and other signage needs.

Remember, beautiful stationery can create lasting memories. And in many instances, stationery and paper features will be your guests’ favorite mementos.

After all, everyone loves seeing their name written in a gorgeous handwritten script!

Creating those special paper features and memories can be fun when you have the right experts guiding you.
