How to adjust your pesky pen holder {video!}

A common misconception is that all nibs will fit into all flanges, but unfortunately this is not the case! Nibs come in various sizes, so they fit differently into your pen holders/flanges. I personally prefer two nibs {the Nikko G & Gillott 404}, so I just have different pen holders to accommodate each.
However, if you are just starting out and only have one pen holder, it can be helpful to know how to adjust your flange.
Keep in mind, adjusting your flange will only work if it’s metal, which is why we only offer oblique holders with metal flanges in our calligraphy supplies shop.
